Jake Thompson

Jake started at Abrahamsons on the landscape crew while in college.  After graduating in 2009 from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Landscape Architecture, he was hired as a full-time designer.  With his background in installation and an education in design, he can create beautiful yet functional landscapes.  He prides himself on working with each client to design unique, site-specific projects and strives to make each customer as happy as possible.  In 2022, Jake transitioned into the role of General Manager and now oversees and coordinates all aspects of the business, including landscape, retail, and plant production, while still doing landscape design. Jake loves spending time with his wife and 2 boys when he is not at work, watching and coaching their sports teams, camping, hiking, playing basketball, and sitting around a bonfire with his friends and family.
