This cultivar of Serviceberry is noted for its upright, columnar growth habit, making it a space-efficient choice for narrow garden areas. In spring, it's covered with white flowers, followed by edible, dark purple berries in summer, which are a favorite of birds. The foliage transitions from green to vibrant shades of red and orange in the fall, providing multi-season interest. Standing Ovation grows to about 15 feet tall with a 3-4 foot spread, preferring full sun to partial shade and adaptable to various soil types. It's an excellent selection for both ornamental and edible landscaping.
